Username changes
I would just like to point out that removing the username discriminator numbers and forcing everyone (example: JohnDoe#8472 ) to use a unique username will result in people coming up with usernames like @Joe8472 anyway just like people used to do on other services in the past. People will still have to use discriminator numbers to find a valid username that they want to use. it changes nothing but to make the usernames look uglier in profiles.
Twitter is _NOT_ a role model Discord (or anyone) should be emulating.

You are correct! This is an actively worse system that people hate!
Please also add your vote and comment to this post for more mass. https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/14337329256983--Do-NOT-add-The-new-discord-usernames-system
It's wild Discord STILL ISN'T LISTENING. Even to the mass cancellation of nitro! Which, if you haven't yet, you should cancel.

I hate everything about this new change and I know I will not have the name I want or even close to it! There is more downsides to this than ups and I don't think they are listening to people saying NO to this.
My username is Unleashed75 and this is what I've had for over 10 years. Now, because I joined late to discord, it'll be gone and I'll have to be Unleashed759758 or some bull.
Worst change ever thought of, when what they have is working perfect for everyone already apart from some Head CEO who wants just Dave or something.3
