  there's also a discord server, and a change.org petition.

  Discord needs to listen to the community. This change raises a lot of serious concerns and I don't see much of an upside.

  25000+ people made an account just for this site (Ridiculous that it doesn't use your regular discord account) and maxed out the comments too, and they still somehow think it's a remotely good idea??? Just the hardest of Ls from discord, fingers crossed they find some brain cells

  You'd think once a thread begging them to stop hit the maximum number of possible comments they'd realize this was absurd, but I guess it's more important to them to be more like Twitter, which is obviously doing wonderfully right now (< sarcasm, if it wasn't clear).
