NO to the username change
Why won't you listen to us? We've been giving you our feedback for weeks, almost none of us want this change, and yet you continue to try and instate it anyways. I didn't agree to such a careless username change, and it's clear you're trying to make a messaging platform into some kind of social media platform with these changes. Like. Hello? It's a completely brainless idea and will lose you users and money by the dozens. I just don't understand.

Totally agree. I just got the notification of the change and cancelled my nitro as a result. Went here and realized you have to make an entirely separate account to even comment or vote which is ridiculous, but makes it even more clear how terrible of an idea this is when 25000+ people were willing to do that just to make their voice heard on a single thread (which doesn't have room for any more comments either). Utterly idiotic and I sincerely hope they come to their senses, though knowing Discord staff they're just laughing at the dissatisfaction and doing it anyway

I also plan to cancel my Nitro over this. I refuse to give my money to a corporation that ignores thousands of people giving feedback on such a ridiculous idea. I might even stop using Discord altogether if I can find an alternative.
