Upcoming Username change

I just wanted to say that the change is ridiculous.

You claim you do it for sake of clarity so people don't have to remember 4 random numbers but completely ignore that this was a GOOD change (and no it's not unique, blizzard, riot and various others do that as well). All you're doing is bringing us back to the dark times where people can't pick their username of choice and instead have to go through multiple increasingly stupid variations until they find one that's free. If you think people can't remember or have trouble communicating Chibi#4392, then good luck watching people struggle even more with xXxD4rkCh1b1666xXx53.

Talk about forgetting history...

    i agree,

    1.its totally backwards it dont make it more save, its the opposite.

    2. the current or old way, is more motivating to use an short realistic name wich is more memorisable,cuz you dont have to worry about that tha name is already taken becaouse the TagNumber will be add anyway.

    and good luck Support Team to chek unic name's like "sldkfjaipos9effdgsh4fdar5zdfjhnp" i hopp you dont have a tipo init an bann someone inocent  x_X

    3.and most user will proberble just addept ther old username from "xyz#1234" to if availble "xyz" or "xyz.1234", "xyz-1234", "xyz1234" wich give Scammmer more esey option to pretend somoe els. by using all the other combinations that now exist inkluding stuff like " .xyz1234" ect.

    4. and it is a good opotiunity for scammer or scumy people to resev acc name's to sell them to contend crators and thare will be a 1million % people to exploid the change for profit.

    *and that change is down rigth dum, i belive. so its for me it is imposseble to belive tha thosen people wo cam up with that, did thought really thought it through*  " *includes google translation"

    the more I think about the change the less sense it makes and the more it feels like the team behind it are doubling down on doing it to convince themselves that it was a good move, because no one in good faith can justify this was a good idea

    I am seriously concerned about safety for many users if this change goes forward. Black market selling accounts is/will skyrocket, hacking or "swatting" for unique usernames (which has resulted in deaths, sadly), doxxing, stalkers and harassers having an easier time finding you, the list goes on.
