custom server badges

i think this is a popular idea, but its a really interesting one.

exactly like the title says. custom server badges for members, similar to the booster badge.

  What would these server badges be for? What would be their point? Genuinely curious, as I like such little things, but I can't think of a purpose for them

  Same as any other badge really, to show off if someone looks at your profile. I would see this as a neat option if it was for some popular server and you have some kind of significant award/role for that server to show off but that's about as much as I can think of. Unless they're talking about internal server badges but then that's just replacing the system already in place of deligating certain roles to people as a sort of badge of honor or award within the server.
