Slow mode for roles

Discord should add a feature where you can set a slow mode on roles.

This could be used in many different ways, for example, new members can send a message every 10 mins to reduce spam and once they gain trust they can post more freely with a higher role. Could also be used as punishment system, if someone spams they can only post every 5 hours.

    That sounds like a soft-mute... I like the idea. Alternatively there could be a separate permission to bypass slow-mode (that is currently tied to the Manage Messages and Manage Channel permissions) that could be granted on certain roles.

    they should also add a different permission that separates slow mode from managing messages, cause right now the only way to let someone bypass slow mode on a channel is to allow them to manage messages and the only way to make someone abide to slow mode is to not let them manage messages, so yeah it'd be nice for slow mode bypass to be it's own perm.
