Screenshare sound doesn't work on Chrome/Opera

When I screenshare a browser on my pc it never has sound anymore. it started with chrome, and a day ago it happened with opera too. I can't show tutorials to students who learn with me anymore, or watch videos with anyone because no one hears them.

I've been using discord for years, I never experienced this problem before, and I wish I could say its just me. I know 3 others with the same issue, it started around 4-6 months ago. I deleted cache, uninstalled and reinstalled, tried everything I could find on the net, yet nothing works. Kinda ruins the experience specially after moving studying to discord due to covid, and there's students who cant share what they have.

    I only used Discord in a browser for the first time last night and had the same issue, had the app for years without (this) problem. I know you've probably done this but the person sharing their screen with me hadn't ticked the box at the bottom left after you click share screen that says share audio. Just decided to write this in case it wasn't there or you missed it.

    I've been having the same problem. On Chrome and Opera screen share just don't play any sounds and on Chrome exclusively mic just don't pick any sounds...
