Color Coding Channel Permissions
We already have color coded Roles, yeah? and one of the main purposes of Roles is to help with Permissions. Select the Role and set the Permission per Channel.
However
One thing I don't see (and maybe I'm just blind?) is a quick glance way to see which roles can SEE a channel. Not necessarily act or post, etc etc. See Messages/Historic Messages.
I want to know, when I look at Discord, if I click on a button or something, I can get a rundown of which Role can see which Channel.
Utilize the same color for the Role and just put dots next to the channels so it ends up looking like:
General Chat (4 dots)
Admin Chat (1 dot)
Mod Chat (2 dots)
Stream Voice Chat (2 dots)
etc. Quick glance. EZ Clap

I actually suggested a similar feature to Discord and they added it a few days later.
Head over to Server Settings > Roles and select the role you would like to know more about what it can and cannot do. You can then click on "View Server as Role". This will allow you to see the whole server as if you were a user with that role.
Btw, you can also click the "Select Roles" button at the top of your Discord window to quickly choose what roles you would like to view the server as. To turn this off you can click "Disable" at the top right of Discord. Hope this helps!
