Feature request: IP checker
This feature request would have legal implications, but I am suggesting that an username-IP checker be added to Discord.
There are two ways that this can be done.
For large servers, require users who were given access to the tool to sign a non-disclosure agreement and submit an ID to Discord. Users who violate this NDA may have their Discord account terminated and all their posts deleted.
For small servers or for users who are not willing or able to sign a NDA, have a "request IP check" button underneath which notifies Discord support that the user is requesting an IP check.
Here is how it could be done: From the "Banned users" / "Users" list of any server, the moderator will get a new button labeled "IP Check". If the user does not have an NDA signed with Discord along with identification, then a dialogue box advising the user to contact Discord customer support for assistance appears. IP check could also require two-factor authentication, even if "enable 2FA for moderator actions" is disabled. Otherwise, a new box will appear that will explain how the tool works. The user will have to confirm and give a reason why an IP check should be conducted. The user and reason is sent to Discord, and a formatted limited list of IPs linked to the username and other usernames linked to a specific IP address appear. The user is warned that any recording, transfer, or dissemination of the data to other users will result in account termination. A watermark of the Discord user ID helps combat recording. Upon clicking "Close" the data is stored in the Audit Log (but still only accessible to those authorized users) for 30 days after which is deleted.

This is a great idea! This would help with issues like sockpuppetry

I think when you request an IP check from Discord Support. They shouldn't show specific IP addresses but they can show every account that belongs to the user
