Ways Discord can improve their assistance often limited by "strict privacy"
Ok. I'm often seeing that when I ask for assistance getting a whole account back when it feels like all login info may be lost, I am told that it's due to a strict privacy system that they can't permit data to just be changed by the support members.
I so far have two ideas that I would love Discord to consider heavily with this.
First one, Discord could instead send the original email of the account a link allowing them to immediately reapply all information for the account and log out all locations the account is logged in. This would greatly help prevent a severe problem from having to reach the support team at all.
Another idea, in the scenario still that all information has been changed, is that Discord may do something similar to Microsoft with account recovery. They can set up a form where the user fills out as much information as possible, such as previous usernames, previous passwords, previous emails, discord ids (if appliable), If they have nitro, what last 4 digits the billing credit card for nitro is (if appliable), etc. discord team could review all of this, and if they find it's enough to prove that the user owns the account, then they can change all information needed to fully get back their own account. What would be wrong with that?

Could not agree more. People should be able to get their account back if they have all the necessary information to back them up.

i guess discord don't care about their customers/supporters at all.
