What to do if your Discord account gets locked.

(NOT banned from a specific server, I mean a full account lock that prevents you from logging in to your account).

First, you should recall what could have been the lock reason. A lock could be for being accussed of being underage, server raiding, or a manual lock issued by discord employees (for example, insulting a head employee or someone that has the power to lock.)

YOUR ACCOUNT CAN ONLY BE UNLOCKED IF IT WAS LOCKED FOR AN UNDERAGE ACCUSSATION.

If it was locked for any other reason, it will NOT be unlocked. If it was locked for underage accussations, contact Discord support. They'll tell you that you'll need to submit a photo of yourself, holding BOTH a piece of paper with your full discord tag (including the 4 number identifier) and a piece of government-issued ID with your date of birth.

If you do not remember your full discord tag, support will NOT give it to you. You might however ask some people you've been in a server with via other websites to retreive your tag.

Once you submit the image, support will unlock your account.

I have had my account locked due to such accussation and support asked me for this and then unlocked it. And yes, your account can be locked even if you're 1 year below your country's age requirement. (Here it is 15yo).

And contact support ASAP because there is a limit after which the lock will be permanent and your account will be deleted.

    I put in a claim to discord and paypal after my account got hacked, we waited for 24 hours and had no repomse from discord as they spent £59 on gifts and boosts without my knowledge. So i put in a claim to paypal saying that i did not make these payments and my account got hacked and discord saw that as chargeback they said remove the claim or appeal. I removed the claim and then appealed that was 30 hours ago and i have had no response all i had was them saying they would not help me on my original issue because my account is now disabled

    can i still appeal? As i have had that account for 4 years and a lot of my old friends, memorys and important servers are on it.

    Dunxle I have exacly the same problem. They spent my money on gifts than i make disposal to paypal and the locked my account. Please can you put your discord ID here? ill add you

    I was phonelocked unfairly, I'm not doing that, I'm not gonna lose my acccount again, this IS. UNFAIR!!!

    hello, 08/20/2023 at lunch, my discord account was disabled, although before lunch, I was chatting with friends on the servers and everything was fine, and there was nothing foreshadowing trouble. so, then I decided to log in to discord again, but I was knocked out of my account, entering my data, I saw the inscription in red "Your account has been disabled". I immediately went to write to technical support, saying that I had done nothing wrong and was blocked. this thing has been tormenting me for 3 days, I had a lot of servers and friends on that account....having not received a clear answer from the support, I'm already giving up. I would be grateful if someone responds to my commen

    ah, this happened to me. i'm really mad it happened cause when i made my account the minimum age in my country was 13+. i got locked out for the same reason on other accounts before, but was able to unlock them by verifying my age since the min. age was 13 back then. now it all of a sudden changed to 16? no heads up? no notice or email? i find it very, VERY annoying. especially since i'm gonna be losing all ownerships of servers, groups, etc. aslong as it doesn't get deleted im okay with being locked out. i guess i wont use discord until i meet the minimum age, but i might aswell never use it if they do these kind of things normally. i nearly lost contact with alot of friends, and almost lost contact with my lover since they're in australia right now. lucky i had their phone number..
