Colour Coded channels
I implore discord to implement a optional way to assign a colour to channels. This would be an incredible addition to discord as it would create a way to sort channels by functions such as for example:
A server can choose to assign a #general-chat as teal because it's a strictly SFW channel or a #announcements as blue because it's a channel where non staff can't post.
This may seem useless to some but it is much more visually cue-able than tiny icons next to hashtags it would be easier to navigate for both normal users and those who have trouble with vision. I am suggesting that discord should allow its default colours for roles to be optional as channel roles too. The colours that I am talking about are these:

It doesn't even have to be the whole channel name. Just the hastag + it's tiny icons that can be colour assigned which would help tremendously. I do realize that discord channels vs unread channels have different colours but that's why I suggested those specific colors because they have darker ones (read) and lighter ones (unread) if a server chooses to colour them.
