View-only channels

Like how private channels make setting permissions easier, having an option to quickly make a view-only channel for rules or announcements would be pretty helpful.

  cyamonds You can already do this in Discord. Create a text channel and deny @everyone or specific roles from being able to speak in the text channel. That will only allow you or your trusted members from being able to speak in the channel. For everyone else, they won't be able to speak.. which essentially makes it a 'view-only channel'.
