Education Accounts

So, hello. I think education accounts would be kinda cool. For example, maybe another version of Discord only used for education. So this may seem like a bad idea but think of the reasons we could need this. Since COVID-19 hit, there has been a lot of technology being used to help a lot of teenagers to continue learning and even learn more. There could be a lot of possibilities with this one idea. For example, with education accounts, you can only join servers you were requested to join by teacher education accounts. Teenagers could have 2 accounts. One for whatever they use their account for now and an education account. The possibilities are endless with this one simple idea

  This genuinely sounds like a good idea for teachers that are using Discord instead of Zoom for their online classes.

  Thank you, Willy. I thought of this idea when I was in a virtual school Zoom meetup. I like using Discord as my main source of chatting with my friends and I hope that schools can use Discord for their main source of teaching teenagers.

  This would also be useful for esports teams that have young students. I want my students to use Discord to communicate during matches and practices, but I want it to be a controlled environment without the distraction/risk of unsupervised servers.
