Discord phone verification issue

I saw other people were having this problem too so i'll post my experience...
I was using a bot on another server when all of a sudden I was kicked out of my account and asked to verify on my phone. I didn't mind putting in my number and I got the code too however when I wanted to remove my number I was kicked out again and can't get back in since the number is apparently "already in use" though I used it on the same account. I am still locked out and have yet to get a response from support. I looked through many reddit posts stating that it can take 24-48 hours to get a response but some even take 14-30 days. IF ANYONE ELSE IS EXPERIENCING THIS PLEASE REPORT IT TO DISCORD SUPPORT SO WE CAN BRING ATTENTION TO THIS BUG. Thank you!

    Oh my god me too T^T I'm so scared and worried because that account had people i love and without it i'll lose contact with them i won't be able to live with myself-

    Same but i contacted discord on email and i got the reply

    Someone else verified my account with my phone number and my account is gone.

    Same issue. 14 to 30 days? ffs

    At least you got some info how long the "timeout period" is. I only got '2-3 days but maybe longer'. A joke

    Hey Bel,

    I'd like to clarify they did not give me a clear time for how long my number would be timed out of use. However, I have been in contact with support but am yet to get a clear answer on whether I can use my number again or not. I've been dealing for this issue for 6 days now, i've resorted to using an alt account I borrowed from someone. I'll try to inform you all if support contacts me with any useful and or new information :)

    Hey Rhombus, thanks a lot for the info, I've been at it since Saturday and 10 emails with support later Im still in the absolute dark - will I get my (properly verified) account back, how long do i have to wait before i try, if i try too soon will it trigger a new block-out period... and all the while Discord have my actual phone number and email and don't care enough to do anything.

    I posted my own feedback, but reading back in this board Im getting more and more desperate. Seems like this has been going on for a while now...

    This just happened to me and I'm freaking out too because I have nitro and if I use another account I won't be able to stop my payments because I wanted to stop paying after this month. Discord seriously needs to fix this, and even when I contact support, they say that it timed me out because I tried to verify too many times, and that the time it'll take to verify again will be indefinite. Not being able to see how much time until I can verify again is also concerning.
