Discord Server filled with fake accounts

Unfortunately today my discord got 100 fake users sent to spam and crash the discord server.
We don't know who did it, but I want to know if my discord will pay the consequences.
I've activated extra security after this attack.

In a short time we have provided to ban and block the spam in the public chats that had as consequence the spam in my dm. We managed to ban all fake users.

What I wonder and if you can get more information and trace the author of this and wanted to ask if our discord will be punished. My concerns stem from the fact that I there at that discord server. I run my little nonprofit project from there. I've put a lot of work into it and losing that discord would be like losing all the accomplishments I've made.
