Invite Links: Allow Admins To Generate Multiple Links
Hi,
I have a private Discord community. I do not want invitees sharing their invite. As such, I like to send a personalized invite link to each invitee. Specifically:
- 1 Use Only
- Never Expire (because people are sometimes slow to take action and Discord only allows up to 7 days otherwise)
The problem is every time I click Generate A New Link I get the very same link. I need a new link every time. Ideally Discord would ask me how many links I need created and it would let me download a csv with a unique link on every row.
If I had a sufficient number of links, I could set up an automation to send a unique link to those who I currently have to manually invite, saving a lot of time and ensuring nobody shares multi-use links.

Super important to be able to easily generate multiple links!

When you create an invite link you see:

Click "Edit invite link" you see:

you can change it so it looks like

EDIT: the "Edit invite link" was made a while ago but its really small so you might've missed it

Hi. I know you can change the link options. But you cannot change the link. Specifically, once created, if you click edit link and try to generate a new link you will get the same single use link. Try sending that to two different people and you will have one person unable to use it. Try sending it to 30 people and you will have 29 unhappy people. If you send multi use link to a bunch of people some will inevitably share it with people you do not want in the server. A simple improvement to discord therefore would be to allow admins to generate multiple links, ideally downloadable as a csv file so that admin could always have plenty of links on hand to either manually distribute or to pre-populate in an automation. For instance, new member signs up -> new member gets automatically emailed a link to join the discord server.

just create more links

Not possible. Every time I go to make a new link it offers me the same link. And should an admin really have to manually repeat a process 100 times? Or wouldn’t it be easier if Discord asked the admin how many links they seek?

create a bot to automate the process
EDIT: the bot can't DM the member if they're not in the server/blocked the bot but you can get the invites by printing them to the console or sending them in a channel (or DM you/another member that has their DMs open and didn't block the bot)

Also you mentioned that people can share it with people you do not want in the server, you can ban the people you do not want in the server.

I vote for multiple links!
