Discord should show the IP address of Password Reset Requests
My account has been subjected to several password resets by an unknown party and I am unable to figure out who it is because Discord is unable to reveal the IP address of the individual behind this kind of behaviour.
Because password resets can only occur if the individual knows the email address or the phone number of the account they are password resetting, I believe this security issue is very important to address.
Therefore, I suggest that Discord shows the IP Address of where the password reset came from in order to reinforce its security measures. I should not need to change my email address or phone number because of some unknown party harrassing me.
Thank you.

I recommend changing the email and/or the phone number of your account and take more safety measures in the future.
This harassment is a result of your negligence.
Discord cannot reveal the IP of the ones requesting these emails due to privacy reasons.-5 -
Negligence? How dare you. What do you know of what I have done and the severity of harassments I have had to deal with?
If you had simply said the 1st and 3rd sentences your response would have been fine. But attacking my integrity without facts is unwarranted and unprofessional.
As you said, if Discord cannot reveal the IP of the ones requesting these emails due to privacy reasons then that is fine, and I accept that. But you should word your responses better in the future, for your sake.

Hey Gem, it's a good request and is commonly used by many large companies, websites, apps. It's definitely not a privacy issue when it comes to someone who has no right entering YOUR email address to request a password reset.
Unfortunately, it looks like Exaltyan most likely works for Discord at this point. They are definitely not a supportive community member.3 -
Thank you for the supportive and much more reasonable response Keanu. I'm happy to see your words and to know that the community has people like you in it. I do hope more people seek to increase privacy concerns in the future. :)
