Discord False Bans
I am tired of these false discord bans. I literally lost my account of 4 years, which owned or moderated several servers, for things that I didn't even do.
There was this person. He had nude pictures of a 13 year old girl, had her address, and was threatening to leak. That girl was a friend of my friend.
My friend, made a group chat, invited the person in question and also invited me. We decided to bait him into sending so we can report him.
He sent the pictures, and we gathered enough proof.
We report him, and about 25 minutes later, the entire Group Chat is banned. Including me, my friend, and the person in question.
Even though we haven't done anything, we both still got disabled.
I appealed, but I got a bot response that denied my request, saying It is legitimate.
Here goes my 4 year old account with several servers.
I submitted another request, which was also ignored.
I had 2 servers, which are very old AND have a sizeable community.
I hope I can get my account back before both servers get deleted.
I would love to get in touch with someone who has authority and investigates this properly.

They banned one of my friends. They didn't even say why.
They banned him again, for something he didn't even do. Same with me.
here I am trying to protect a minor, but discord disables me instead.

I have supported discord for 4 years as well.
I have been helping keep the community safe for nearly 4 years.
Just last month, I took down 3 gore servers which contained.. well, gore, self-harm, targetted harassment, and a lot of horrible stuff you don't wanna know.
Last year, I took down about 3.
I have been trying to keep a child safe, but noo. Discord disables me and my friend for just trying to protect a minor.
I have lost any shred of respect left for Discord. I have bought Nitro countless of times. I have moderated several servers, Never had a previous warn and never have been disabled before, yet here I am.
This shows you how horrible support is.. They won't reinstate my account and ignored all my appeal requests.
I have had 2 servers, one had 50 people and the other had nearly 700..
I just wish discord was a bit more helpful.

I have put so much effort and time in my disabled account. If it is gone, then I am gone. Discord might not care, but I am gone for good.

A friend of mine has vouched for you in appeals.
The same guy who was in the GC with me.. He had a 5 year old account. He lost it. He got banned for literally no reason. The email doesn't even say anything. It just says 'banned for violating TOS'.

Damn, my account has only 4 days until it gets deleted and I am losing hope drastically. I feel sorry for everyone who has to go through loss of years of experience and progress relating to discord. I too have my discord account of 4+ years in risk of deletion and I don't know what to do. Sent my 5th appeal recently

Well, you did bait him, which was wrong. You can't force someone to do something wrong and deem it "appropriate".
It would be better to bust people than to set a trap to frame them.

However, that was not the reason I was disabled. I was disabled for "revenge pr0n". Me, my friend, and the person in question were all in 1 group chat. It seems like they disabled all 3 of us. Which is the annoying part.I have been part of discord since early 2017. I have never broken any discord rule. never warned before, never reported before, never disabled before, nothing. I had bought nitro several times as a way to express my support for Discord. yet here my account is about to get gone.

Sadly, though, this is a general trend. Any large company has support that is basically pants. I got denied the first time, and after that, not a single response. Why deny? Yeah sure, you 100% have "investigated".
I think I have found a discord support agent on Reddit. I have sent him a message but no response. All his posts are the same. He might be a bot sadly.0 -
Yeah, that is something known. I really wish their support was better. I am out here trying to protect a minor, I get the boot. You see a bunch of unironic nzis in g0r3 servers, those stay up for like forever. Amazing job, discord

I dm'ed a discord mod on reddit. What did I get? a goddamn warning. I swear there is nothing we can do. A bunch of unironic nzis, violent g0r3 servers, harassment servers etc can stay, but we don't?!

Ah, that is sad. I have nearly 200+ DMs. My DM's have so much character development from me.. Yet every second it is slipping from me. I hope I can get it back, man. I hope you get yours back as well. Praying for you.

When I get temporarily banned (on rare occasions only) on other sites, I don't think about just an incident that could've been the cause. I think of other reasons and events, not just the crucial, juicy ones. (my advice to you.)

I have never broken any rule on discord before. The ban reason was "revenge p0r_n". Nothing else. The only incident that involved anything like that was in the group chat, which everyone inside was banned.

It has been a week since my account was disabled. I am tired of trying.
I appealed 1 more time, and their cheap underdeveloped bot denied my request. I am moving to Telegram.

I have a theory.. What if discord is just false-disabling people so they can clear storage and save data space?

Don't think that is the case. I got banned in 1 big group chat. So did 2 others. It was only us 3.

It said "Revenge Prn0graphy". Had to censor because my messages keep getting pended. Which is why I am 100% sure I got banned because of that GC
