I cant log into my account and my name switch to "EMPTY-USERNAME#0000"

I cant sign into my account. Heres what happened: I oped discord and i seen i had a incoming message. I opened the message and it said "connecting". It kept saying connecting for about an hour. I decided to sign out and sign back in. Now its still saying connecting and it says my username is "EMPTY USERNAME" i am so displeased about this i cant see my friends, my account information, i cant log into my account on other devices. This app is unusable for me now. I even deleted the app. Please help!

    Same issue here. It occured on my phone but my PC seems to be still working. Logged out and logged in and now I got nothing.

    Notifications still show but when I press them they take me to an empty page with an empty server list. Tried friending a guy I'm friended to on discord but it said I was already friends with him, although I can't access our DMs.

    All help is appreciated.

    I found a solution. I logged in on my phone browser and it seemed to fix it for my app.

    Same issue here. I managed to log into the web app by switching my mobile browser to Desktop mode, but that also did not get me back in.

    I am seeing same issue. Tried force stop on the app, clearing cache. Tried doing the desktop browser method and seeing the same issue. Never happened before

    Same issue here, tried every method and none worked. I guess is something related to discord servers because even when I had the previous version the error was present. Updating to the 98.10 did nothing for fix the issue 

    Edit: in my case che issue just resolved from it's own after several hours. If someone still have this problem, I think it's only matter of time before it resolve.

    Started yesterday, still happening to me today. Cache/reinstalling/updating to beta/logging in on mobile browser didn't work but desktop still seems to be working fine. Very odd.

    SAME!!! Started yesterday out of the blue, it's now been 24 hours and my problem persists. I have also tried all the above options and nothing has worked for my phone or tablet. My desktop is in fact functional however.

    Right ok so basically I found the issue the day I posted my comment.
    You just dont have enough space to update discord. (if you have this issue on your phone)
    Make some space and update discord, should fix the issue.

    That wasn't it in my case because I had 55 GB free on my phone.

    I opened a ticket with Discord and the rep was very kind, but it seems that the problem resolved itself overnight for me. A friend of mine also encountered this issue and his resolved on its own too - maybe there's just a bug somewhere in the pipeline?

    I agree, the memory of my phone has well enough space for Discord with less than half the memory used. I have faith that it will resolve itself...oy what a drag! 😥

    Update mine fixed it self over night. I saw the error disappear around 8am. The issue started around yesterday afternoon.

    UPDATE: Mine has fixed itself!! It took a little over 32 hours...but it just finally came back alive full force. Very thankful. Good luck to everyone still with this problem!

    Same thing happend to me on mobile, what i did was just log out and log in , i got all my dms and stuff back

    Hello, I just looked up a bunch of stuff and I just tried logging into my computer for discord and it says theres a current API outage, so dont worry I'm sure there gonna fix it soon :)

    Ohh my god i saw the last comment and i started breathing i thought i am banned for something it was just saying connecting i uninstalled the app and after that downloaded it again and when i logged in my nickname was empty_username or something like that but i am now breathing xd!
