Changing existing role rights through update

Dear developers,

one of my server members with the right to manage roles accidentally removed himself from the role which allows him to manage roles. In the former version this was not even possible. He could only change roles BELOW this role, not the role, which gives him this rights itself. Furthermore you added the rights, to create roles, and change rights for channels. This is an huge increase, especially for an already set right! Besides the former way to be just able to apply roles below to themselves and maybe other users was perfect. But there's no replacement for the former way, and these rights are to much power to keep this granted.

Will there be an alternative? Or a possibility to change this back? With the rights this way, it's to much power and without it, I have to change everything just, for short usage of single users, which becomes annoying...
