Better Discord 2FA
People are constantly getting locked out of their Discord accounts due to the current 2FA system that requires them to have authentication codes, and if they lose those codes they have to rely on Backup Codes (that is if they downloaded them, if not then they are basically out of luck and lose everything.)
Discord should make it so that codes are also sent via email and SMS so that its easier and the people who lost access to their accounts can get back into them. It would be better than the current one because way less account lockouts will occur.

Yeah I just had a back and fourth with the discord support team about this because I just got locked out of my account aswell. I suggested the same thing and I hope they do something about it.

First off you can choose to receive codes via SMS. Discord will even try to scare you into it while you're setting up 2FA and will sometimes pop a banner up asking you to enable it. SMS 2FA is insecure and its just better to use an app and write the codes down. The current system is fine when people read the warnings but when they just click though the prompts then it leads to lockouts
