Audit Log
Ello, Redstone here
I had an idea to make the Audit Log in servers clearer.
''what does he mean...?"
well, let me explain:
Every server has an audit log, which can be monitored by roles with the ''view audit log'' permission. What gets documented in the audit log? Well, basicly everything! Every invite that gets made or revoked. every channel setting that gets changed. every role that gets updated. and so on.
Because of this, that place can get messy real quick.
So my idea was maybe: be able to hide items in the audit log.
How will this look? Well: when viewing the audit log, you can tick an option called ''show hidden items''. When off, you can see all items except the ones that got hidden. And when turned on, all the hidden ones appear too! [maybe a bit darker/more greyed out than the not-hidden items. So that its easier to see which ones are hidden and which ones arent]
Who can hide items: admins? no. Roles with Administrator? again, no. The only person that can edit the audit log is the server owner
"but what if the owners account gets hacked and his server gets raided? Cant they then just hide the evidence?"
basicly, yes. But if the owners account gets hacked they can also just delete the server entirely, so thats not really a concern.
And btw, just tick "show hidden items" and boop, theyre all there! :]
