Easier 2FA

People are constantly getting locked out of their Discord accounts due to 2FA, there should be a option for people to receive their 2FA codes via text or email so that they can get into their accounts easier, this would help those who lost their accounts be able to get back into them and it will help prevent more lockouts in the future.

  No. Just because there are people who aren't responsible doesn't mean the security should be weakened for everyone. If they aren't going to be responsible they should've not even turned on 2FA in the first place. Discord already has a solution to this issue: Backup codes

  I'm responsible. I have had 2FA on for a year so far and I haven't got locked out of my account. If my phone breaks, I have backup codes on my PC and a USB drive

  However I think there should be a fingerprint ID backup authentication which would be more secure than email
