There is hope! Discord looked into my wrongly disabled account and fixed it.

Hi,

I've made a few posts here about my frustrating experience with having my account disabled without cause or explanation, so I just want to post my successful resolution for anyone else still dealing with it, as well as recounting my experience for any Discord employees who read these posts for feedback on processes. 

My account was suddenly disabled almost a week ago. I didn't receive an email or any notification letting me know why, and I was 100% certain that I've been rule-abiding and have never done anything remotely ban-worthy. So, I submitted a ticket and received the copy/paste Clyde bot response that says "Your account has been disabled for violating ToS or Community Guidelines. Your account will not be reinstated. - Discord Trust & Safety"

This was obviously a mistake, so I asked if a human could look at my case to confirm that I haven't done anything wrong, because there must have been a bug or false-positive of some sort.  

*crickets*

After a few ignored pleas for a human to help me, it was clear that this was the only response I was going to get, so I tried messaging the new Discord Support account on Twitter. Multiple tweets/DMs, over multiple days, no response.

*crickets again*

Next, I started publicly tweeting at Discord on twitter. After a few days of that, the main Discord account DM'd me to say that the Clyde bot response I received counts as an agent looking at my case, and that the message is final. I think they just wanted me to shut up. I replied, saying that the Discord Support account itself had posted instructions saying that responding to Clyde bot gets it pushed to an agent...

*crickets*

I continued posting in my tickets, on Twitter (even started a "Day X of being wrongly disabled and ignored..." tweet at one point), and then finally this morning I received a ticket update from an actual agent saying that they reviewed my case and lifted the ban. I still have no idea what happened, but I assume it was some sort of bug. I guess it doesn't matter now, because I'm just glad to have my account back.

    the year is 2027 its been 4 years since iv been banned i keep trying to reach out to support but there is nothing but dead silence i am starting to lose hope of ever getting my account back

    anane There wasn't an individual name, or else I would give them credit. It just came from Trust & Safety.

    Scalosian, how did you wrote to discord support on twitter? i can't send any messages to them because they are "failed to send"
