Dislike the "Unique" Username Change
I don't really understand the purpose of this change. I run a DnD Play by post Discord Server, and while we only have a hundred and forty active users, I think I can safely speak for my community when I say that most if not all of us are upset with the change.
As a trans person, I am not a huge fan of being told what I can and can't call myself, and the freedom of being able to change my name any time I liked, because my code would always remain the same, was very freeing. Plus, if I ever met anyone with the same name as me, it would have been cool and funny. Now instead people will be forced to take the names they like, and add all sorts of garbage before or after them, in order to feel like their identity is preserved.
It feels to me like a significant downgrade, and people with longtime names and identities are losing them. I think I will probably give up my nitro subscription if that's the only way to get you all to listen to what the community is telling you.
TL:DR
Unique usernames have a lot of people upset, the system is outdated, and doesn't make sense, and the best way I think I can make that clear is by not re-upping nitro the next time it runs out.

I just got forced to make my username change. I have also cancelled my Nitro. Discord isnt getting another penny from me until they revert the username system

You absolutely should give up your Nitro. What value does it even offer at this point?

I'll tell you what value it offers. Nothing but power for Discord to extort you with. They suspended my account after I cancelled my subscription and issued a chargeback when it still renewed. It still hasnt been 24 hours since the renewal period started.
