username change is AWFUL

This username change is so unbelievably bad and pathetic. I cannot fathom why Discord is so desperate to become a Twitter clone. NO ONE was having difficulties with the number discriminators, there was no reason to change this besides following the dumb trends of other, worse websites and apps. I HIGHLY recommend cancelling nitro and TELLING them why you are doing so. Most of the good usernames are already gone now so we have to add numbers to our usernames anyway, what a surprise.

    I completely agree I have Cancelled my nitro already and it will stay that way because this change is terrible.

    The discriminator system allows me to have both more freedom in choosing my username and a better sense of privacy. I'm commenting here because the main thread already has the maximum number of comments, that's how unpopular this change is. Reverse it.

    The post on this forum to revert the change back to the discriminator system absolutely dwarfs every other post in votes and comments on the entirety of the forums since its inception. Discord are you listening?
