Account Disabled for presumed TOS or Community Guidelines Violations
Well, afternoon to whoever is reading this,
Recently, from exactly around 12:00 AM PST, 7/12/2023, I found out my discord account and my other account that I used to test to view roles before that was added to the platform, was apparently both disabled, (both accounts I had were from around may 2016, wasn't very active either by around 2022-2023, and found it unusual it seemed related to a inactive discord server that pretty much nobody really chatted in for months/years in some cases too), and later on I found out from people telling me that they were also affected by a sudden ban wave, likely due to a report on a discord server, and apparently the support@discordapp.com email isn't available according to emails from them, and is automated as it has been converted to the forum method through here.
I'm not sure what to do exactly, or who to take this up to, requests-wise, and my initial attempt around that time to appeal, said I had no disabled accounts under said email, which came from the Clyde discord bot/AI which was unusual, as upon testing to log in, it was the same result.
Upon attempting to message again, as I believed it was due to a server getting too many reports, and pretty much all users (over 200 people in it I believe, as well as other servers I was not in, but heard through other online servers), were also affected in that case.
Not even sure why, but pretty much every attempt so far as been automated responses, (or lack of reply, or ones that reply within a few minutes/hours without a actual review or reason but states the same thing), either saying I don't have any disabled accounts, or there is and it's appealable, however the email claims it can't be reinstated, however they also said to not to refer to said emails, not once, but twice from automated emails, and said to use the forums here for appeals, which I have done so, twice so far too.
I'm not even here to play victim, I am genuinely clueless to what could of caused it, besides based on assumptions from what others have told me recently so far too. Because even then, I don't even know what even exactly occurred if they haven't told me what it is, besides that it was some sort of violation, and somehow someone likely got reported too many times and had resulted in such action. I am not sure if there's even any way of me to prove the mistake, because I do certainly have several people who could back it up, let alone personal evidence from beforehand, because I have been generally helping people out, and somehow this occurs from a recent case, which seemed to also affected several others from what I have seen or heard online too.
Discord support on both appeals through here, and support@discordapp.com (I used website version instead of the app, besides on mobile), both says from a source that is not longer used (the support email), to ignore it, and appeal through here, but it's a automated response that claims I don't have any disabled accounts on essentially 2-3 different emails, however the support email verifies there is a disabled account, so I found it unusual in the first place too.
I'm trying my best to appeal for it to no avail, despite having zero clue what to do due to the recent changes with how Trust & Safety works as it converted over from email to just only appeals, it seems the disabled accounts (of not just me), appear to be done erroneously, although this could be related to a few discord servers that were related to historical topics of both world wars, which could of caused such actions due to out of context or mistaken or otherwise misunderstood wording and actions done to the server, or accounts involved, as apparently people who were not even in the server, let alone indirectly related to it/were inactive like I was, also received the same problem encountered as well too.
I'm genuinely not sure what to do, but any help and information on this would be much appreciated for such efforts so far too.
Thank you whoever reads this though.
Below is the image for the incident, which is likely why it is related to the WWI/WWII related discord servers that I was in but was inactive, although I believe it was due to me being a temporary server owner at the time, however as others have told me and more information appears, pretty much everyone in the discord server, over 200-250 people, including those not even related were affected, which is why I am making this post to come to a understanding or at least some sort of investigative review to what even occurred for such allegations, and preferably from a human source at least to see what even happened, as it seems automated. It's strange considering those who know me, know for a fact I am open with such things, so it is possible that such things came from the server I was in back then though too.

And again down here with these two images.

Thank you again for anyone reading this though too.

Hey Lily Sakura,
I hope this message finds you well. I understand the unfortunate situation you're facing, where your account was disabled due to being in a server that allegedly violated the community guidelines. I can understand how frustrating and confusing this must be for you. However, I wanted to offer some insights and suggestions that might help you in your appeal process.
Firstly, it's important to recognize that Discord takes community guidelines and policies very seriously, and they have systems in place to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all users. However, it's not uncommon for false reports or miscommunication to occur, leading to actions being taken against innocent users. It's possible that someone might have misled the support team into believing that you were involved in violating the guidelines.
To begin your appeal, it's essential to remain calm and respectful throughout the process. Discord's support team receives numerous appeals daily, and maintaining a polite and professional tone will make your case stand out and increase your chances of a positive outcome. Here are a few tips to help you with your appeal:
-
Gather evidence: Collect any evidence that proves your innocence and demonstrates that you were not involved in any violations. This could include screenshots, chat logs, or any other relevant information that supports your claim.
-
Be specific and concise: Clearly explain the situation in your appeal, including the reason for your account's disablement and your belief that you were falsely targeted. Keep your message concise and to the point, while still providing all necessary details.
-
Stay polite and respectful: It's crucial to maintain a respectful tone throughout your appeal. Avoid using offensive language or making accusations. Instead, focus on presenting your case logically and politely.
-
Follow proper channels: Make sure to submit your appeal through the official Discord support system. Use the designated channels or forms provided to ensure your message reaches the appropriate team.
-
Provide timestamps: If you have specific dates or times when the alleged violations occurred, include them in your appeal. This can help demonstrate your absence or lack of involvement during those incidents.
-
Seek community support: Reach out to other members who were also affected or witnessed the situation. Ask if they are willing to provide statements or evidence to support your appeal. Unity within the community can strengthen your case.
Remember, the appeal process might take some time, so it's important to be patient. While awaiting a response, consider exploring alternative servers or communities that align with your interests to maintain engagement on Discord.
I genuinely hope that this situation gets resolved in your favor. Stay positive and persistent in your appeal efforts. If there's anything else I can do to assist you, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Best of luck with your appeal!
Sincerely, Haunt

Hello there Saulmora0506, I understand that you're concerned about your disabled Discord account and the lack of communication from the support team. It can be frustrating not knowing the exact reason why your account was disabled, especially when you haven't received any emails from Discord regarding the matter.
Firstly, I can offer some general guidance that might help in this situation.
If your Discord account has been disabled without any explanation, the best course of action is to reach out to Discord's support team directly. You mentioned that you've already sent a support email, but it has been two days without any response. Unfortunately, response times can vary depending on the volume of inquiries they receive. It's possible that they are experiencing a higher than usual number of requests, which might be causing the delay.
To improve your chances of receiving a prompt response, I recommend doing the following:
-
Double-check your spam or junk email folders: Sometimes, support responses can end up in these folders, so it's worth taking a look there to ensure you haven't missed any messages.
-
Be patient and persistent: While waiting for a response, try to remain patient. You can send a follow-up email to the support team politely requesting an update on your case. Remember to provide them with any relevant details, such as your account information, to help them assist you more efficiently.
-
Seek additional support channels: In addition to email, Discord might have other support channels available, such as a support website or community forums. Check their official website for any alternative methods of contacting support.
-
Be prepared to provide necessary information: When communicating with the support team, be ready to provide any relevant details about your account, such as your username, email address, or any recent activity that might be related to the account disablement. The more information you can provide, the better they will be able to assist you.
Remember, the support team's primary goal is to help you resolve any issues you're experiencing. It may take some time, but they will likely get back to you with more information or instructions on how to proceed. I hope your situation gets resolved soon, and you regain access to your Discord account.
Best Regards, Haunt

I sent request to support team and Clyde said It's because of violating TOS and Guidelines and they will not reactivate my account but i didn't do anything against it, I own some public servers and my account joined discord since 2016, I was unaware of what happened I just saw my account logged out automatically and disabled. What can I do in this situation?
