multiple/alternative verification methods
I really wish Discord has more than one way to verify the owner of an account. Currently Discord would send you an email to verify yourself if you're logged in from a new place, or when you try to change something like changing email or enabling 2FA (in some cases), but that might be a problem for those who are unable to access their email for some reasons (like deleted or disabled email account, for example). Sometimes Discord would ask for phone verification, but I think nowadays they would just ask for it when they suspect something is going on.
I don't mind what kind of verification Discord would set as the main method for verification one's identity, but please consider having alternatives that is available at all times. Email, phone, captcha, arkose challenge, QR code, security questions, etc. Add 'I don't have access to this email/phone/whatever' option, too. This way, those who lost access to their email would still be able to access their Discord account from a new place or make important changes, as well as those who doesn't have phone (and couldn't borrow someone else's, or maybe simply doesn't want to tie a number to an account) to verify their account.
Really, multiple verification method should be a thing on Discord. I know security concerns might arise, and that's okay, since security on the internet is an issue, indeed. A huge one, probably. But, at the same time, I think, we shouldn't limit ourselves to just one or two methods of verification because, hey, anything bad could happen at any time.
