I got IP banned for absolutely no reason.

I was just chatting with my friends and then I couldn't see some messages, I tought it was a bug or something but then I restart discord and i got IP banned.

    A lot of people were hit with that. You're not actually banned, it's Discord throwing a fit. It's probably tied to the ongoing API issues they're having right now, but they're working on it

    You did nothing wrong. This is an issue Discord has to fix and hopefully will be fixed soon
