Improve Age Verification on Discord

I hope this message finds you well. I'd like to propose a focused enhancement to the age verification system on Discord, considering recent instances of account disabling by the automod, including my own experience.

1. Early Age Verification Option:
  - Introduce an optional age verification step during account creation.
  - Users can voluntarily confirm their age, providing an additional layer of account security.

2. Limited Features for Unverified Accounts:
  - Implement a system where unverified accounts have restricted access to certain channels and features.
  - This measure ensures a gradual integration into the Discord community for those who choose not to verify.

3. Automod Disabling Prevention:
  - Early age verification can prevent unintentional account disabling by the automod.
  - Verified accounts could be less prone to automated actions, reducing disruptions for users.

4. User-Friendly Age Verification Tools:
  - Explore reliable age verification tools, such as Jumio, to streamline the verification process.
  - Prioritize user-friendly interfaces for a seamless experience.

5. Clear Communication to Users:
  - Clearly communicate the benefits of age verification during account creation.
  - Inform users about limited features for unverified accounts, encouraging them to complete the process for a fuller Discord experience.

    This is such a well thought out and polite response to the struggle of having your account disabled, I really hope they can implement it!

    I'd also suggest on top of these if there is going to be an auto mod tool:

    • The accounts that are disabled via auto mod either are in limbo for the average ticket response time + 2 weeks
    • Accounts currently with an ongoing ticket associated to them do not get deleted until 2 weeks after ticket is closed
