Nitro and boosting perks

Dear Discord Team,

I wanted to provide some feedback regarding the Nitro and Boosting perks. While I appreciate the value of these features, I find myself questioning the necessity of needing level 1 boosts to my server just to enable GIF profile pictures. As a user who enjoys customizing my server experience and enhancing interactions, it seems counterintuitive to have such a basic feature locked behind a boosting requirement. Given the popularity and ubiquity of GIFs in modern online communication, it would greatly enrich the server environment to have this feature more readily accessible to users without additional hoops to jump through. Simplifying access to such features could enhance user satisfaction and further promote engagement within the Discord community. Thank you for considering this feedback.
