Finally got my account back after a 3 to 4 month nightmare / Definitely be aware of a certain "hacker" trying to wreck a whole bunch of accounts
Sorry for the very long topic title but still just had to post this - I can confirm that after a nearly three to four months agonizing nightmarish wait regarding my account being hacked, it was finally back in my possession yesterday (after the staff disabled it first then notified me via email so I could change the password on it immediately). Now I'm just in the “recovery phase” checking out my friends list on the backend and sorting out a lot of stuff including unblocking certain people and asking some to let others know to unblock me as well (letting them know I've got my account back). I've got a long road ahead before I'm completely back to normal on this account, that's for sure.
But the other part of this post is to definitely give everyone else warning if they haven't run into this situation already to definitely be aware of a horrid pest/scammer/hacker who's literally been posing as a so-called “Trust and Safety” staff member; definitely do not friend ANY person who goes by the name of “MikeSupport” because that's how my account got mousetrapped, stolen, hacked, and wreaked havoc trying to destroy my account and others along with it under my friends list. And of course, don't fall for the “you've been reported” scams from appearently hacked accounts either.
But the bottom line is that we need to see about definitely not friending this “MikeSupport” pest (instead, reporting them big time to the Trust and Safety department until they can finally get law enforcement involved to find this monster, apprehend them, and throw them in jail permanently). Although I'm relieved that I got my account back at last, I won't rest until I find how I'm able to see about reporting said suspicious user myself; they need to be banned from this platform outright as far as I'm concerned. I'm out for now.

I just had this happen with a guy named "Rhys Davis" claiming to be support when he wasn't, and a friend's account was hacked causing me to fall for it since “well, they are a friend and seem very genuine” which now makes me feel like a fool. Discord has stopped responding to me and won't even give me as much as a damn inch of human responses and after reading this, it's good to know to keep trying but to not rely on a “safety and security” of the discord team.

Discord doesn't give enough of a damn to even look at your tickets after sending the regular bot response so there's really no use in trying with them unless you're willing to harass them to the point you could be banned just to get someone to care and get you to shut up.

I got a guy named “Rob Ponce” pretending to be a facilities manager. If anyone has any helpful information on how to get their account back, that would be great

I got Rhys Davis too and my account was immediately disabled after it so I can’t even try to do anything. I’ve been waiting for a response from discord for 22 days, and I did mistakenly send multiple in an attempt to get their attention but later found that that was a bad idea if anyone has any updates please let me know this process is agonizing

I think I fell for the same scam that you did, except my ‘support’ staff member's name was ‘Kevin Hanaford’.
I feel massively betrayed and let down by Discord for basically allowing this to happen. I don't pretend to know or understand what their system is for resolving customer complaints/Support Requests, but for a company as large as they are, you would think they'd have enough members of staff and recourse for people falling victims to false bans/scams. It seems like they are just too big to give a shit about people like us.
I'm feeling burned out and exhausted, and so far, I've only been waiting for one week since the event. I've pretty much accepted that I'm not getting my account, or those £317.91 that he spent on Gift Cards back.
This is beyond unacceptable. Kudos to you for having the patience to wait for as long as you did, but I don't think I'm going to bother. If the hacker decides he's had enough messing around with my account and decides to ‘Delete’ my account, there's nothing Support can do to bring it back once the 2-week deadline has passed for reinstating it.
Personally, I think, after everything you've been through, you ought to teach them a lesson and decide not to give them any more of your time or money. That is what I've already decided on.

Was “Kevin Hanaford” for me as well. I have sent 3 tickets in total, each time after my old one got marked as “solved”. I even have screenshots of the entire conversation, still Trust & Safety completely ignores me. To know that support helped you at all seems like a small miracle.

Hi! May I know what did you wrote on your ticket? And, is there must time gap before I send another ticket? Because I was sending other ticket everytime after my last ticket closed by them. But now they didn’t even escalating my ticket and closed my ticket after two days. It happen three times now.
I try to copy my friend ticket with a little edit because I thought my broken English is the problem, I send bunch of proof picture that I’ve got scammed, I try to send my ticket at midnight, but nothing happen. My friend suggest me to wait until four days to send another ticket. I don’t know if there gonna be any difference if I do that. But I’m still trying for any possibilities.1
