Ad Memoriam Accounts

My father died in the past month. I'm honored that he took the time to learn Discord and be a part of my family's life by keeping in touch with me and my children through their Discord server. It means a lot to me every time I log in and still see his name in the user list. I think seeing this disappear in time to come would be heartbreaking.

I think it would be an awesome idea to offer something like “ad memoriam” accounts or provide a way for users to keep accounts like this alive - whether it is a paid option or not. I know it would mean the world to me, and I'm sure that there are other users that feel the same way. I'm confident that it wouldn't be a huge procedural ask of the Discord team to implement something like this.
