Discord banned my account for 2 years for false reasons

I guess talking here in the community is the only way I could get this account back. So let me explain the whole situation.

I was banned literally in the middle of a call with my friend, and I thought maybe this was a two-week suspension because Discord didn't say something like "We will remove your account," and I waited two weeks.

After two weeks, I checked the account standing, and it said that I had broken rules about Child Safety, which was so weird since 1. I never talked about or shared anything concerning children, 2. I don't talk in many servers; I have 3 servers where I actively talk, including a friend's server, my job's server, and one community server.

So basically, I lost memories, my friend list, and my job for two years since this ban will be removed in 2026.

Now, this is really stupid, especially banning me for two years. I have never violated any rule before, and I have had my account for 7 years already. Discord just banned me like that. I clicked on the appeal button and just got an email where they say they won't change the action.

And this is really a sad and depressing thing since I lost everything—like my whole life—since that account was used for everything in my life. I can't even download my data or do anything, and I never got the full reason, like if I sent something bad and what exactly, or if I did something stupid or anything. I think that an autobot just found some random things from the past and banned me for that.

I submitted millions of emails and I just get the same automated message. I also wrote on Twitter and Facebook but got no response. Can someone please help me, give me suggestions on how I could potentially get this account back before 2026, at least for one day to get my data or to transfer my server ownership to my friends, or to write in my bio that I'm banned or anything. I literally paid for 1 year of Nitro on that account and got banned…

    My accounts got disabled too, then fully deleted after a month, had decorations and nitro, got no refunds and lost all my memories and apps, I did not do anything wrong, current discord support is terrible, they need to hire better and more staff.

    Same thing happened to me after i got hacked.
    Discord support seems to just see the ban reason and ignore everything else, plus its impossible to talk with someone who could actually look into it in order to provide some help

    Happened to me also today, they didn't give me any reason and just the Clyde bot saying that but it says i have two warnings about child safety at like 11:30am and i went to sleep and stopped using the app at like 4:00am so i am really confused, also i hAve so many important things in there

    The problem is that discord does not tell you the actual reason for the ban, i got hacked and then my account got banned and i do not know why, maybe he posted something illegal, maybe i just joined a server that mass reported my account, i think everyone is in the dark regarding this and discord support doesnt seem to give a lot of answers regarding it.

    I guess we both had same reason, Child Safety. I am still not unbanned. Have you ever got a reason for your ban?

     

    Also how did they unbanned you? Have you wrote support tickets or they did it on their own? I was getting automatic Clyde messages and now I get “solved” tag without any messages.

     

    Could you please provide more info? Thank you a lot!

    Hi Mak, first I did got a reply from clyde but i answered it and the ticket was still opened,untila real person replied, and then they told me they made a mistake and unbanned me, I figured out the reason by myself, it was a NSFW meme but nothing related to child safety, I think that the bot flagged it as such

    I dont know if mine could be something similar, i have been waiting for 2 months now and i keep on struggling with discord support for someone to check my stuff.

    Hopefully i will be lucky enough to get someone to analise it properly since i have already got some replies about my account not being reinstated despite all the proof i have presented. I am assuming such replies are made by bots however since if my account did indeed do something that bad it would not still be up and im pretty sure i would have been IP banned.

    Either way im happy you got your account back, may we all be so fortunate

    Yep I got a 2 year ban after finding a 16 year old girl was trying to get with pedos and wormed my way in so I could get any evidence off her she sent pics to “prove herself” and reported HER as a minor in a dangerous situation and I get the ban for 2?? I've hopefully helped this girl from a life of pain and misery

    I never got unbanned (even after 5 months), and I never got reason for the ban. It's pretty sad.

    Any updates? It's been 3 months for me and all I got that it was an temporary ban from Clyde, but nobody is answering my questions on just how long it'll last
