Urgent: Issues with 2FA Lockout and Account Recovery

Hi everyone,

I'm currently facing a significant issue with my Discord account related to two-factor authentication (2FA). After I added a passkey to my account, it was locked without any prior warning. I did not receive any confirmation email indicating that the passkey was added, which left me unaware that this would lead to a lockout.

My phone number and email are still linked to my account, yet I'm unable to access it. When I reached out to support, their only suggestion was to delete my account and start fresh. This is incredibly frustrating because my account holds significant value to me, including my server, chats, and notes.

I submitted a support ticket, but it has been two days with no response. I'm feeling frustrated and vulnerable, especially seeing many users with similar concerns about the limitations of the new 2FA system.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, how did you resolve it? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
