Shortcut to Own User

On many servers, the users list can get quite cluttered, and finding your own user can be troublesome. Sure, clicking on your name in chat or searching for your name can work, but they're not quite effective. Having an easier way to access your own user profile within a server would be very helpful, as it'd allow one to easily see their roles, color, current nickname and related, without having to either scroll through eight-thousand plus members or having to send a random message only to be able to click on their username. One way of achieving this would be to have each client displaying their user's profile at the top of their respective list on the sidebar, meaning every user would be able to find themselves easily, while still showing up inside their role-specific list. Another way would be to either make the username displayed on the bottom-left (alongside the mute and settings buttons) clickable, bringing up that user's profile within the current server, or creating another shortcut, perhaps above the members list, that shows only the current user, with their nickname and colors, just as it is in the main list.

Hi! I do really agree with you on this issue but, I don't think it's bothersome enough to have it's own feature concocted for us. I've used the search bar to look at previous messages and it works 'alright' I guess. It just doesn't seem bad enough to need a fix. However, I feel your pain. Haha.

It's not like the worst thing ever, but it should be pretty simple to throw a button somewhere for seeing your own profile. So yes, this is probably not a priority issue, but this isn't a hard one either. Maybe those two things balance nicely and someone implements it.

I think this is a great idea. Especially in servers where users may not be able to post messages, then there isn't really any real way of searching for your own username. It would help on servers where roles are moderated through bots, and so being able to easily check your own roles to see which ones you are missing would be extremely useful rather than scrolling through tons of members for a while.
