In some cases, it can be tricky to report users who you needed to ban from your server to Discord Trust & Safety, because in your haste to clean up as fast as possible, you were unable to retain any evidence for a report. It would be useful if messages that are deleted when a user is banned can be auto-archived for a maximum of seven days. If a Trust & Safety report is sent in within this time, keep the archive until the request is resolved, but otherwise if no report is sent then the archive should be automatically purged after the seven days. This would be especially useful if it’s combined with bulk delete on ban and in-app reporting as an all-in-one tool, since it would allow for the required evidence to be submitted while also allowing a server to clean up and get back to normal quickly. If it was also possible to make these features work if a Bot was used to ban and purge, that would be very useful for larger Servers as well.
