This is a very necessary feature.

    Hello.

We already have the option to ban @everyone mentions on selected servers.

But what should we do when we need to receive notifications from the server, but the server has separate channels with unnecessary reasons for notifications.
For example, discord games, Twitter messages, quizzes, and so on. Everyone has their own list.

I propose to expand the functionality of suppressing server mentions to separate channels.

I think this will increase the degree of self-expression of many users and satisfaction with Discord in general and communities in particular.

    Please support me. Thanks!

The role-specific suppression would be awesome. Most people have some level of control when using @everyone and @here since they know it's noisy and annoying. There is much less control for mentioning roles. This leads to lots of unnecessary ping spam in channels I'm not in (and I'm not in them for a reason). If I could say “suppress @everyone, @here and group mentions in channels I'm not in” that would solve everything.
