[Admin Server Settings] Per channel default notification settings

Admins / Server OP's should be able to set a default notification setting for a channel

People could still manually enable the notifications in settings

Example : #bot-commands will have a lot of spam so i should disable the notifications

Don't wanna be cocky but it should be like #bot-commands/notifications/default-notifications=off

Benefits:

1. Less spam for a normal user.

2. More settings.

3. MORE SETTINGS. (i like niche settings to make stuff easier for a normal person)

    Yes please! New users keep complaining that they get so much spam in some chats (like bot-commands), so I have to keep explaining that they should put the channel in silent mode. Would be great if Server Admins could make this default for a channel

    I've been running a community discord server and I can't stress enough how key this would be. We've got 50+ people on here, but only about 10 active. A lot of folks fell away because they couldn't deal with the constant notifications and aren't familiar enough with the platform to figure out how to quiet things down. Having this option would make Discord so much more new user friendly.

    @Neyo, if I'm not mistaken those settings are just for me though. My goal is to set (for example) my #bot-spam channel to default to muted for all users on the server, including new users.

    @neyo are you sure? As I know those for your personal notification setting for that server. It won’t change others

    Good night. I did try it. It works only for me. It wont effect the rest of the member. Because the Notification Override is not server wide. If you have two accs you can try it.

    Like CLY said, that's only personal settings. We want a serverwide setting for every channel, so it should be inside server settings.

    I will test later, sounds very odd to me that it would be in the personal settings menu though
