Frustrated as Crap

I can't get Discord to allow me access to a friend's server ... It simply will not accept the invite provided by the friend ... I have tried everything i can think of including uninstalling discord and re-installing,  getting another friend invite, opening a new discord account nothing so far has worked.   Constructive Suggestions appreciated Thanks
