Muting Folders

Muting a server folder so that we don't get the unread dot on the folder, but when we open it we can see unread dots on the individual servers

    also can u make an option to automatically mute people with anime profile pics? it's against my religion and a real hassle to go through every single profile. thanks.

    yes please - i'm in a bunch of different discords so the folder feature has been awesome but the ability to mute an entire folder with one click is definitely needed.

    just the options you have for servers, placed on the folder

    Folders should have the same alert features as servers with the option to set them for a timer (like mute) that will override the servers within.

    Just adding to this as it's a great idea. I have quite a few discords in a folder and I'm tired of always seeing that "9" on my notifications because 10 other servers are '@everyone'-ing.

    want to bump this too to say much needed. It's great to have that one folder you can just mute for 8 hours cause you're working for example.

    Please consider it, we also need a feature to mark DMs as read because it gets annoying having to go back to the DM just to mark it as read.

    Yes, please consider adding it! It would be so helpful, and you could add it under of above the "Mark Folder as Read".

    YES PLEASE MAKE THIS AN OPTION. WIth 100 servers, it is very hard to go through serves just to mute them. I also have tons of folders. Please make a notification setting such as ones with individual servers. Please PLEASE PLEASE make this an option.

    Please, please, please do this. My study server pings me to remind me to get water and stretch so I don't like turning on Do Not Disturb, but I'm in so many other servers that going through and muting all of them becomes tedious. Yesterday I kind of accidentally sat in one spot for about six hours straight without getting up because I got sucked into work and had Do Not Disturb on. My other servers are grouped by subject it would be SO much easier to just mute the non-productive ones for 8 hours, for example.

    Dropping in to agree with this, notifications are still in a terrible place, especially for games that have multiple different servers with varying functions (especially games with differing types of commonly run activities).

     

    Even Warframe and League both have two each (regional+reddit for League, official Warframe + community Warframe) before joining groups from either game, while something like RotMG has an entire collection of Discords corresponding to the in-game dungeons that easily (and unfortunately) number more than 20, most of which ping for every single run.

     

    Then there's just collections of servers of similar concepts...

    Yeah, I have a whole folder of servers im just in for the emojis and dont like having to mute each server individually.

    I'd love this if it worked like muting servers. Right click and it gives the options to Mute folder for 15 min, for 1 hr, for 1 day, etc, or Mute folder until I turn it back on

    I'd love to see that feature too. Its just so intuitive to do the same with folders as it is with servers. I would very much like to some reaction from the Devs to this :)
