Organization WITHIN servers

First, I spent a good amount of time trying to find something similar to this idea/thought, and couldn't find one so here is mine. Just wanted to toss that out there.

I'm not quite sure how other servers are, but in the RP server me and my friends run, we have so many categories that some of them are simply called "-------------" so that we can have different sections and keep everything organized in an easy to use manner.

Regarding this, I suggest that there be added some way for admins/moderators of servers to be able to manage/organize/section the categories in the server. I have a few possible ideas:

1. let categories be able to be put into categories. This would be the easiest, for my server at least, in terms of organization setup initially.

2. create divider/section tools such as divider lines similar, section titles (ex: "---title---").

I'm open to hearing other peoples ideas regarding this, as well as being pointed to an already existing idea of this. I just haven't managed to find it if there is one.

    I just though of a simple client side function, that permits to create 'sections' that are just patterns of hiding some categories.
    So you can tweak the client view to see what you want to use only.
    And other channels ping would simply be showed on the 'section' button so you can know where to look at ; and / or a slight button to directly show the standard view (no channel hidden)
