Fatal javascript error.. .

Hey there

 

I was trying to install Discord app several times on my windows platform but it keeps giving me the Fatal Javascript error ( I downloaded from discord.com by the way ).. .

 

So. I checked the file at path:

C:\Users\*USERNAME*\AppData\Roaming\discord\0.0.307\modules\discord_desktop_core\package.json

 

*You might need to say Show hidden files to be able to see the AppData folder.

 

And it was just because the version was set to 0.0.0, which obviously is not correct

 

So it was luckily an easy fix. xD

 

I changed the jSon file from:

{"name":"discord_desktop_core","version":"0.0.0","private":"true","main":"index.js"}

TO

{"name":"discord_desktop_core","version":"0.0.307","private":"true","main":"index.js"}

 

And now its runs smoothly. - Hope it can help others

    I am currently having issues with the discord_desktop_core completely missing, even re-installing the app from downloading the installer from your site is still missing.
