    Leader of the Discord Server, The Lobby. A couple of my sub servers also have this issue and we ended up just scrapping it all together. Something like this would prove useful for user customization.

    This is exactly the problem we're facing too.

    A solution could be to implement two options : one option to declare a role as "color role "or "decorative role" (with for instance, all rights denied automatically), and an other option to enable a role to "manage all Color Roles" independantly of their position in the hierarchy.

    This way, if you give mods full rights on decorative mods, no more problems of access any time, and no security breach potential as the decorative roles, by default, give no other permissions than the real roles of a person already gives.
