Someone keeps joining me to random servers
So here I was minding my own business thinking I could only join servers I wanted to join, BUT NO! someone randomly joined me to a random server I did not want to be in! NO people and NO servers should have that kind of permission! just... 3 NEW servers I've never seen before! POPPING UP out of nowhere! one day they're not here, next day they are! no invite, no nothing!
PLEASE; people should not have the power to join me to servers without me clicking on anything.

Your account has been compromised. Those bots are not the reason you are joining random servers. Those bots you listed have options to message new people after they join your server. The bots are safe. Try changing your discord password and check to see if you have been in any database breaches with https://haveibeenpwned.com/ and change any website passwords that share the same password with the sites that have been compromised. Please update us if the random server joining issue still happens after you change your password.

No worries, I figured it out. Nothing was hurt. I authorized the bots. the Chill Giveaways bot I unknowingly give permission to join me to servers. Since I no longer need that bot, I de-authed it. Thanks!

Yeah it happened to me too, sadly they use MEE6 (I think) to do this in my case so I won't deauth

Everyday I get invited to from one to even six discord servers randomly. Often they are of things called vanity invites like one of the bots calls them. Its been happening for three months now and its getting irritating.

Go to user settings > authorized apps > find the bot which has the permission to make you join servers > select it > deauthorize it

kinda late but i found out which bot (for me) has been joining me into random servers. there’s this one bot called xperio that’s used with nitro giveaways and stuff.. i hope this helped!

Ye i was having the same problem. Some random server called "chill heaven". I de-authorized the bot called "epic giveaways" from joining me into servers. It joined me into chill heaven twice within 12 hours. I don't know why anybody would want any of that.

Try going to User Settings > Authorized Apps and check if there's a bot you're unfamiliar with or you don't remember authorizing. If it is, hover your cursor on it then choose "Deauthorize".

Same happened to me, but when "I join" to random servers, spam bot dm me and keep spamming. I think I can find solution here. Thanks.

I FOUND THE SOLUTION! PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE!:
Have you been put in random servers and they keep putting you back and DMing you random invites to other servers?
You aren't hacked by a human most likely. A server used an annoying bot to get you to authorize them to join you in random servers. What you need to do is go to Discord settings and go into Authorized Apps and deauthorize any bot that wants permission to 'Join you into servers'. However, it's a good idea to change your password just in case and even put a two-factor authentication on it so that people can't get in unless you put in a passcode from Google Authentication. This should stop this. Don't attack the servers begging them to ban you or calling them bad names, it won't do anything and most of them enjoy hearing you complain (because they want the bots to do this to you). This SHOULD fix your problem.

I had this problem and I planned to fix it in my free time but I think it added me to a server that violated the tos and I had my account disabled and the appeal is taking forever to be accepted or denied and the bot that adds you to servers is most likely the most recent one you authorised (maybe)

Something similar happened to me where it randomly added someone to a server I hasint been on in 3 months that no one BUT ME is in and I never added anyone

so basically, once u invite a bot to one of ur servers or something it will somehow have access to make you join different servers.
i got this bot called (Invite manager) and it said that it invited people to ur server if u type '!grow' or something so i did that a phew times cus it kept not working and nothing happened so i kicked it from my server and like 1 day after i started getting invited to stupid servers every day.
discord has now named the bot Fake/Scam Bot so people know its a scam

The same thing has been happening to me for a last few days. After seeing this posts comments. I went in authorised option and saw the mee6 bot has perm to join server for me i just de-authorsed that. Let's see if i randomly join servers again*_*

i have the same exact problem with me just joining servers without me joining them myself ( or maybe its my older sister making me because i gave her my info so i wouldn't forget it after i wanted to reset my computer )

hell yeah it happens to me every day after I wake if I am in that server that I join randomly I dont join but most of them feels like n*f*one

Same here i keep getting added in random server even though i didn't joined them- that's kinda weird- discord should make a permission for it and work for it i keep getting annoyed when i keep getting added to random servers

My solution was to block those bots bc of the spam DMs of fake giveaways and making me join servers, I block them but read their messages on servers I’m on

Yea I keep getting invited to Night Bar Social Club , I deauthorized a fake or real dyno or whatever. Ima see if I get invited again

I swear this is the EXACT same thing happening to me every night! I check discord at night there’s nothing. And by the time the next day comes, I’VE BEEN INVITED TO A RANDOM SERVER.
