Self-mention Role Permission

while Discord's customization options for both clients and servers has grown significantly, it's still lacking some major features, one of which is the ability for someone with a certain role to mention their own role and only them to be able to mention that role.

There is only two ways in which mentioning a certain role can be achieved in Discord right now: either no one but those with "Mention everyone" permission can mention the role OR everyone can do it. I think there should be a middle ground where there is an additional permission that states "Permission to mention this role" and that would give ability to those who have a certain role to be able to mention their own role.

e.g. A server has a "VIP" role and the server wants to allow only those with the VIP role to mention other VIP members with the "@VIP" mention. There is currently no simple way to achieve that other than to give those with the VIP role ability to mention everyone on the server and every single role, which may not be desirable in most circumstances.
