HELP! I invited a discord bot, and now I CAN'T BAN it!

I invited a discord bot, and now I CAN'T BAN it! It won't leave my server, it's so weird. I ban or kick it, but it still won't leave! In the Audit log it says that I banned the bot, but its still there. I can't command the bot either or give it any roles. Any help would be great!

    I'm having the same problem. Unfortunately, I didn't find a solution to the problem, so I couldn't get the bot out of my server. But my suggestion would be to go to the bot's user dashboard (the website where you invited it from) and try to do it manually from there.

    After running my bot for 3+ years, on hundreds of servers, this happened.

    What worked for the Server Owner was to add the bot again, and then kicking it worked.

    Most likely distinct parts of the (certainly massive) Discord database got out of sync. That's eventually happens on non ACID databases.
