about allowing only certain people to send messages in a channel

ok so look i started using discord in 2020 and im working on using it to make my yt channel a server whenever i wanted a specific member to only be able to chat in a channel i always had to go and manually flick in the permissions which memeber can or cannot do things it would be nice if discord helped us easily do this and help us all out

    dude ik how to do it but when u have a large server qith a lot of roles it s a bit tedius to do for each and evry category and role

    thats why it would be easier if there was an easier way to do it
