Messages editable by multiple people

My Idea is to be able to allow certain roles to edit messages on a discord server.

For example if someone does something that the admins decide isn't good, they could edit the rules without having to make another message in the #rules channel

    This can easily be abused by admins to make the member say things they never did or to create false evidence for punishment giving the Moderators a lot of power. If anything, they should just delete the message.

    R E G E X that's a stupid counter-argument really. I don't get why people keep on coming up with this every time someone suggests this. Lets be real, what would admins really gain from "making members say things they never said"? That's not what this suggestion is about, its about admins being able to edit messages like rules channels or guard the community for things that don't belong on a channel, like vulgar contents.

    Such a feature has been part of regular forums for years, so why should this really be a matter of discussion?
